Projects:

I’ve always loved designing and inventing different gadgets for my hobbies and the needs that have come up throughout my life. This passion has also carried over into Jugger, a sport that stands out for its strong equipment-making component. This aspect has let me combine my creativity with my passion for the sport, constantly exploring new ideas and solutions that improve both the game and the gear.

My academic background, especially subjects like Sports History and Biomechanics of Physical Activity, has strongly shaped how I approach these projects. These fields have given me a unique perspective on how the historical and technical sides of sports can come together to help them evolve. This drives me to design and invent with more than just functionality in mind — I also think about how my creations can help Jugger grow into a more complete, accessible sport for everyone.

In this section, I’ll be sharing my projects within this fascinating sport, from innovative proposals to improve equipment to ideas for refining training. If any of these projects interest you, or if you have any questions, feel free to get in touch. I’m always open to new ideas and collaborations that help Jugger keep growing!

Sticks 2.0

After years of playing and analyzing Jugger, I realized that sticks, while functional, had room for improvement in terms of durability, maintenance, and appearance. In this post, I’ll share the development process behind my new stick system, which not only simplifies padding replacement but also brings the aesthetics up to a more professional level. I’ll walk you through how this idea came about, the challenges I faced, and how this design has been reviewed and approved by the leading Jugger organizations.

Kette:

The new kette introduces significant innovations that improve the gameplay experience in Jugger. Its lightweight chain paired with a heavier cage optimizes shot inertia, ensuring greater effectiveness on every throw. It also features an improved ball-change system that minimizes deformation of the cage at the point where it connects to the chain, delivering superior durability and functionality.

Testing equipment

I’ve developed a set of tools to make reviewing Jugger equipment easier, simplifying the process of checking regulation measurements. Among them, the kette tester allows for quick and accurate measurement of the kette ball’s minimum diameter. I’ve also created the shield tester, designed to check both the diameter and thickness of shields, with a simple disassembly system that makes it easy to store. Finally, I’ve redesigned the tool used to test sticks, which I call the “Egyptian key,” improving its functionality.
