New Stick System for Jugger: Innovation, Functionality, and Athletic Style

A while back, I had an idea that would change the way we build sticks for Jugger. During my training sessions and matches, I noticed the need for a system that wouldn’t just improve the stick’s functionality, but also give it a more professional look. After a lot of analysis and testing, I developed a new system built around two key goals:

1. Interchangeable Padding: One of the biggest problems with traditional sticks is how difficult it is to change the padding, since duct tape or other adhesives are typically used, which makes replacement harder and affects both durability and the stick’s appearance. My new design eliminates the need for tape, allowing the padding to be swapped out quickly and easily. This not only makes maintaining the stick simpler, but also extends its lifespan, since the body of the implement isn’t affected by padding changes.

2. Professional Athletic Aesthetics: Another important aspect I wanted to address was appearance. Jugger implements, while effective, often lack a refined look that reflects the level of professionalism this sport deserves. With this new system, functionality isn’t the only thing that improves — the aesthetics become far more polished and athletic too. Now, sticks aren’t just efficient tools on the field; they also have a visual presentation that matches the competitive, athletic spirit of Jugger.

This project is the result of a full year of development, testing, and fine-tuning. Each phase let me refine both the design and the materials, making sure the final product wasn’t just innovative, but also durable and effective in real game situations. Throughout the process, I ran numerous durability and functionality tests, and I can now proudly say this stick manufacturing system has passed every required test. It has been evaluated and approved by both the Spanish Jugger Federation (FEJ) and the Spanish Jugger League (LJE), meeting all the safety and quality standards required in the sport.

Sticks 2.0 System Components:
