Objective: Practice pinning with a focus on communication and tactical decisions to help the Qwiker advance.
Rules:
- Set up a rectangular field measuring 15-20×30 meters, with a base at one end.
- Position a player lining up another player with the jugg somewhere on the field.
- Place the Qwiker on the field line opposite the base, along with a rival Pompfer — this is the starting line.
- On the signal, the Qwiker runs toward the base, while the pinner passes them the jugg.
- The rival Pompfer will try to catch up to the Qwiker, and the pinner will decide whether to set a screen to protect the Qwiker’s advance. This rival Pompfer can start “x” stones after the Qwiker — the shorter that delay, the harder it is for the Qwiker.
Benefits:
- Encourages coordination between the Qwiker and the pinner.
- Improves game reading and strategic decision-making under pressure.
